My name is Aleksandr Gorbachev. I’m a Community beat reporter for the Columbia Missourian and a graduate student of the Missouri School of Journalism
I was born in Russia and lived in Moscow for the past 15 years. I worked as a full-time journalist since 2005 in Afisha, a biweekly Arts & Culture magazine based in Moscow, but eventually left my post as its editor-in-chief in July 2014 and went to study in the US — because I still feel I have a lot to learn in my profession. If you by some reason are interested in learning more about my biography (thanks for that), please read this.
I enjoy music, books, controversial topics, cooking and smart discussions. Oh, and I love cats.
